   "Ashok Reddy, the core's associate director, is a bioanalytical chemist who assists the director of the OHSU Proteomics Shared Resource in managing proteomics projects across the entire university. He has 14 years of experience conducting cancer research including the world's largest cancer dose response study and 9 years of experience conducting proteomics/biomarker discovery studies in human body fluids, such as serum, saliva, cervico-vaginal fluid (cvf), amniotic fluid and urine. He has managed large cancer and proteomics projects from conception to discovery as demonstrated by the successful discovery of biomarkers of infection for Pre-term birth, Preeclampsia, and Neonatal sepsis. His work with protein biomarkers led to venture capital investment of $20 million for his former employer Proteogenix, Inc. His research interests are in disease biomarkers in body fluids and tumor markers in cancer tissues."
