1. Resource Description

   "OCTRI offers assistance with the experimental design, pre-processing, analysis and interpretation of functional genomics studies (microarray – Affymetrix, Illumina, Agilent), proteomics and next generation sequencing (ABI, Illumina). Our focus is on the development and application of statistical and computational methodologies for analysis and integration of functional genomics (microarray, proteomics, NGS) data for network reconstruction with an emphasis on understanding transcriptional regulation as it relates to disease etiology (cancer, alcoholism, Alzheimer's disease, etc). Our experts have extensive expertise in the development of high throughput statistical workflows and creation of bioinformatics pipelines for new and evolving technology. Collaborations with industry (Affymetrix, Illumina, ABI) ensure that the methodological development keeps pace with evolving data types."
